Polish Heritage Month Open Invitation

You are cordially
invited to join us on Sunday September 30, 2012 for the second of a series of
very special events celebrating Polish heritage..  They begin in Vineland
with a “celebration of Polish heritage” and continue through the month
of October, Polish Heritage Month, highlighted with Philadelphia’s Regional
Pulaski Parade telecast October 7th on channel 6 from 1pm to 3pm.

On Sunday, 9/30/12, at 1:30
PM
the day’s events will begin at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with a
Celebration of the Holy Mass in POLISH. Sacred Heart Catholic Church is located
on the corners of Landis Ave. and Myrtle Streets in Vineland, NJ 08360.
Directly following the Mass there will be a procession down Landis Ave. and up
South 7th Street to Vineland City Hall which is on the corners of 7th
and Wood Streets. At 3 PM a Flag Raising and Proclamation
Ceremony, including the raising of the Polish flag and American flag will be
conducted.  Included will be a very short discourse recognizing and
honoring local individuals for their accomplishments and efforts promoting
Polish heritage awareness and contributions made to the overall economic and
cultural fabric of South Jersey. Then we will enjoy Polish songs lead by PNA
Lodge #3106 choir along with a traditional Polish ethnic costumed dance
presentation by the nationally recognized PKO Cultural Dance Ensemble of
Philadelphia, always a memorable event.

Immediately following
the flag rising ceremony at Vineland City Hall, the procession will return to
Sacred Heart Church Hall and beginning at 4:30 PM enjoy a great
dinner including Polish Cuisine. Attached you will find an “advanced ticket”
order form for the dinner. Our dinners are known for their unmatched authentic
taste and great value. They have been very successful in the past.

In addition, local
vendors will be present offering Polish goods for sale. The Philadelphia Museum
of Polish Culture and History shall have a presentation and booth where you can
purchase various items relating to Polish Culture and History.  Proceeds
from their sale items will benefit the museum.

Again, thank you for
your help in passing on the word and we are looking forward to seeing you on
Sunday, September 30!
